Food Bank's mission is to fight food waste, recovering surplus and distributing it to people in need. The 20 Food Banks that operate nowadays in Portugal deliver food to 2.218 charities, whom in turn deliver it to shelters, schools and charity centers either as already cooked meals or as food baskets. The total distribution benefits more than 398.233 person in need.
